What's the format?

Our small group of ambitious business owners will meet once a week for 12 weeks. I will take you through a structured process to help you design and activate a robust marketing strategy for your business. 

We will cover:

  1. Meet your buyer – how and why do buyers want to engage with you?
  2. Clarify your value – how do you stack up in the eyes of your customer?
  3. Join your buyer’s journey – which marketing activities will make the biggest difference along the way?
  4. Speak your buyer’s language – how do you create focused messages that appeal to the people who matter?
  5. Measure and test – how do you know what’s working?
  6. Supercharge your marketing machine – how can you build momentum and scale up through continuous fine-tuning?
At the end of the course you will create a 90-day marketing plan based on your strategy, that you can start implementing straight away. And you'll have made significant improvements to your marketing all the way through the course as well.

What is involved?

Our small group of ambitious business owners will  meet once a week for 12 weeks. During this time I'll take you through a structured process that you'll use to set up a robust marketing machine that will drive sales for your business. Not only that, once you've learnt this powerful process and your machine is running, you'll be able to reuse it for the rest of your entrepreneurial career.

How practical are the sessions?

Extremely! The course is designed so you do all the work during the sessions. I'm there with you to answer questions as we go through every exercise together, to get you to a robust marketing strategy and a marketing plan that'll work for your business. In each session, I'll break down the theory into bite-sized chunks and I'll explain how you can apply this to your business. You won't be "listening and making a few notes" - you'll be creating your strategic and tactical marketing plan during the sessions. The sessions are highly interactive and hard work so be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.

Will there be lots of time-consuming homework?

You're running a small business - I get that. Some weeks you'll have time to work on your marketing and some weeks you'll be flat out. I want every session to be valuable even if you've been flat out since the last one. That's why I've designed the course to be flexible to fit into a real business owner's schedule. There will be homework, but a lot of it is reviewing the work we've done in the session and improving it. If you have time, you can also start implementing the marketing ideas we'll be coming up with in each session, but it's up to you. Like any marketing course, the more you implement, the more value you'll get from it. And marketing can get addictive. Once you start seeing results from the things you're implementing, you'll want to do more!

Is the marketing course for product or service businesses? B2B or B2C? Third sector?

In short, yes. The content in this course applies to any sector and any offering. Even third sector. Marketing is simply about making it really easy for people to make a decision to buy (or buy in). If your organisation needs to persuade someone (e.g. customers) to make a decision (e.g. to buy from you) then this course will be valuable.

What if I change my mind?

If you change your mind or if your circumstances change and you want to cancel, my refund terms are:
  • Cancellation more than 30 days before the first session: 100% refund
  • Cancellation 14-30 days before the first session: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 14 days before the first session: no refund (by that stage it's too late for me to fill the space)

What if I don't see any results from the course?

After the success of previous intakes, I've decided to offer a guarantee. I'm only accepting people onto the course if I know they will get value from it. So if you attend every session and implement all the marketing activities and measures in your personalised plan (created during the course), then I guarantee your revenue will go up by at least as much as the value of the course. If it doesn’t, I will refund the difference. That's how confident I am in this course. Plus I can't bear the thought of taking money from someone and not providing value in return. It goes against my values, so that's why I've written this guarantee into the Ts&Cs of the course.
